So, as Tribe is looking increasingly problematic
(frankly, I worry that one of these days (or nights)
Tribe will become unavailable... permanently and
without notable warning to that effect) does anyone
have any suggestions about a similar-ish sort of
community/resource for photographic types?
Do any of y'all hang out and get good input/info/etc
(and offer same!) elsewhere online?

Never tried Flickr (except to photo-browse, from time to time or when looking at specifics). Others have recommended Flickr though, so I'll probably give it a try...
What I've seen of DPR forums hasn't impressed me: slow website nav's, and the content has always seemed (IMHO) to carry an excess of brand-idealogues, trollery, flamage, and other undesirable noise. I may give it a 2nd chance, though.
