  What a bummer. I only saw 1D Mk IV... no s. After having "more than six" Mk IIIs, I went down to a 40D and am waiting for the Mk IV.

  There won't be a Mark IV since 4 means (similiar pronounciation to) death in Japan, which is taboo. Expect EOS 1D Mark V to come out to replace the Mark III.

    4=death is in chinese as well, and 44= double death, 13 is good luck number.
