Crazy great deal on Nikon D40 from a very reputable dealer:
www.adorama.com/INKD40XR.html
Now this is a factory refurb (performed by Nikon themselves) but any Nikon dSLR that's less than $250 is hard to pass up, especially for anyone who's been on the fence about making the jump from point-and-shoot.
As always, I have no ties to this offer... Just sharing the news.

Re: Nikon dSLR for $249
Wed, February 4, 2009 - 4:50 PMI wish I had better cashflow this month... it would make a great little travel camera. I even have a lens for it, too. -

Re: Nikon dSLR for $249
Thu, February 5, 2009 - 1:03 PMI buy refurbs all the time - I think they're actually better because a human has actually looked at it and tested it before you get it. Not every 'new' product is personally tested by someone.
I wish I had the duckets to pick one up myself - would make a great second camera... -

Re: Nikon dSLR for $249
Thu, February 5, 2009 - 1:56 PMI agree 100% kc! I always buy my desktop systems refurb'd from the Dell Outlet (at usually half the price as retail) and have never had a single issue. The new stuff I buy breaks all the time...
