Both are aps-c CMOS (not CCD) sensors.
Both have in-camera HDR without a tripod (haven't seen reviews of the feature independently tested)
These would be "mid-range" or "advanced amateur" bodies.

Full-Frame (!)
This is nearing a "pro" body, feature-wise. Only lacks frame-rate, really.
